3 new students participated in the Deneyap Technology Workshops project, which was initiated to raise young people who produce technology. Young people who successfully passed the written and practical exams in the second phase of the project covering 680 provinces were entitled to receive training to become the technology star of the future. Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank announced the results that students awaited with curiosity.

STRATEGIC ATTACK

Making a written statement on the subject, Varank said, “One of the strategic pillars of our National Technology Move is Deneyap workshops. With this project, which our President has entrusted the coordination of our Ministry to our Ministry, we provide a 3-year comprehensive technology education to our gifted students at secondary and high school levels. These free trainings have an innovative and visionary curriculum. We have only one expectation from the students who come to the workshops that they use their imaginations to the fullest. GOAL 50 THOUSAND TALENTS

Varank explained that they have implemented 12 Deneyap Technology Workshops in 18 cities first and in 30 cities in the second phase. “We aim to graduate approximately 5 thousand students from Deneyap workshops in 50 years. We will follow the steps taken by our children after the Deneyap training and we will continue to support them. These young people will shape tomorrow's Turkey. not consume technology, technology which produces the energy of our youth will have the goal of Turkey. " he spoke.

81 EXPERIMENTS IN 100 PROVINCES

In order to accelerate the technological development of Turkey's 81 Deneyap Technology Workshop will be established in 100 provinces. Under the leadership of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Industry and Technology, Technology Team Foundation TUBITAK and Turkey as a result of the collaboration initiated project is taking part in the 11th Development Plan. In the first phase of the project, 12 Deneyap Technology Workshops were established in Adana, Ankara, Alanya, Edirne, Erzurum, Hakkâri, Eskişehir, İzmir, Konya, Manisa, Muğla and Trabzon.

Students, who started their education in 12 provinces in July last year, completed their "design and production" and "robotics and coding" training. In the new period, the trainings will continue with "electronic programming and internet of things".

FROM AĞRI TO ÇANAKKALE

In the second phase of the project, Adıyaman, Afyonkarahisar, Ağrı, Antalya, Çanakkale, Çorum, Elazığ, Gaziantep, Isparta, Kahramanmaraş, Kastamonu, Malatya, Rize, Sakarya, Samsun, Şanlıurfa, Tokat and Yozgat were selected for 2 new Deneyap.

DIFFICULT EXAMS

The written exam, which is the first stage of Deneyap in these 18 provinces, was held in February. 65 science and technology enthusiasts took the exam. 168 thousand 9 students who passed the written exam successfully took the applied exam in August. In this exam, students made project designs that reveal their original ideas in line with the theme presented to them, which they could use their technical knowledge, and explained their completed projects to the jury members within the specified time. The jury members evaluated the students' skills of self-expression, original thinking, adding innovation, and having knowledge about the subject.

81 PERCENT FROM STATE SCHOOLS

In the evaluation, 70 percent of the written exam and 30 percent of the practical exam were taken as the basis, and 3 students were qualified to be the technology star of the future. It was noteworthy that 680 percent of these students came from public schools.

3 YEARS STRONG EDUCATION

The Deneyap education model is designed to help students in two age groups acquire skills such as entrepreneurship, creative thinking, critical thinking, solving complex problems, effective communication and teamwork. At Denayap, junior and high school beginners receive training in areas such as Design-Production, Robotics-Coding, Electronic Programming, Software Technologies, Aviation and Space Technologies. For 3 years in total, students who will gain the ability to deepen their basic technology competencies and special interests, and to produce projects, will become the technology stars of the future at the end of this development process.
