Bold Ravdan, Ambassador of Mongolia to Ankara, visited TCDD General Manager Ali İhsan Uygun at his office on September 1, 2020.
Referring to the deep historical ties of the two countries, Ambassador Ravdan expressed his desire to increase the existing trade volume and to provide this with railways, and gave various information about the current railways in Mongolia and ongoing railway infrastructure works. At the meeting, based on the current situation in railway transportation, future plans and suggestions for rail transport between the two countries were also discussed.
Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Manager of TCDD Ali İhsan Uygun, by listening carefully to the aforementioned information, stated that work will be carried out as soon as possible to take the necessary steps. The General Manager Uygun also stated that the transports to be made between the two countries and the increase in the volume of these transports are also desired by our Organization.
The meeting ended with goodwill wishes of both sides and mutual gift presentations.
