With the completion of the bridges and connection roads connecting Çayırova and Tuzla, the people of the region took a sigh of relief. The project, which was undertaken by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, accelerated the traffic flow and provided great convenience to transportation. Transportation is now faster and safer in the region where industrial establishments are concentrated, thanks to the bridges and connection roads connecting the two metropolitan cities.
IMPORTANT PROJECTS COME TO LIFE
Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, which makes life easier by implementing remarkable projects one by one, draws attention especially with its investments in transportation. Metropolitan, which has carried out important projects in Kocaeli from north to south from east to west, has accomplished an important work by providing Kocaeli-Istanbul connection transition. With the bridge connection road work between Tuzla Şifa Mahallesi and Çayırova, transportation between the two regions has become easier.
NEW AND HEALING NEIGHBORS
The residents of Şifa Mahallesi, who could reach the Şekerpınar connection road through Çiftlik Caddesi, provided access to Çayırova and İzmit city centers from there. With the new project, by connecting to E-80, both east-west and north-south transportation can be realized. The passage bridge and connection roads to the south part of the truck park in the neighborhood eased the transportation of Şifa Mahallesi and Çayırova Yeni Mahallesi.
2500 METERS ROAD MANUFACTURED
Within the scope of the project, 2 meters of road were manufactured. In the study, 500 thousand 4 cubic meters of concrete, 615 tons of iron, 675 meters of rainwater sewage line, 429 meters of drinking water line were made. 597 meters of piles were produced for bridges. Within the study, 852 square meters of parquet and 5, 600 meters of borders were laid. 10 thousand 150 tons of asphalt material was used on the roads. In addition, within the scope of the project, earthenware, bored piles and jet grouts were manufactured.
TWO BRIDGES BUILT
With the commissioning of the project, a connection to E-80 was provided, and traffic flow in both east-west and north-south directions was provided. The bridge and connection roads built have connected the Tuzla Şifa District and Çayırova region. Within the scope of the project, one 1 and a half meters long 91 meters wide and one 7 meters long 90 meters wide bridge was built.
TRANSPORTATION BETWEEN ÇAYIROVA - TUZLA HAS BEEN EASIER
The transportation problem between Şifa Mahallesi and Çayırova district, which has no direct connection to E-80, which is the Şekerpınar connection road, will be eliminated thanks to the connection roads built. The residents of Şifa Mahallesi, who can reach the Şekerpınar connection road through Çiftlik Avenue, provide easier access to Çayırova direction with the completion of the project.
