Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is building the Pishmaniyeciler Square in the center of the city for one of the symbols of Izmit, Pishmaniye. Due to the works carried out for the modern square that will be brought to the city, the escalator on the side of the Adnan Menderes Pedestrian Overpass, on the Halkevi side, will be closed for 10 days as part of the security measure.

Metropolitan Municipality continues to work to bring a modern square to Izmit district. STAIRS WILL BE USED TEMPORARILY
Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality will keep the escalator on the side of Adnan Menderes Pedestrian Overpass Community Center closed for 10 days in order to ensure the safety of the citizens within the scope of the works in the Pişmaniyeciler Square. Due to the application that will start on Wednesday, September 9, citizens will be able to transport by using the normal stairs at the back of the escalator.
