Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which has been working to protect public health since the first day of the coronavirus epidemic, continues by diversifying the measures it has taken.
The transparent panel application initiated by Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş in order to protect the health of tradesmen and citizens was implemented in private service vehicles after taxis, minibuses and private public buses.
INSTALLED ON MORE THAN A THOUSAND SERVICE VEHICLE
Transparent cabin assemblies have been started to be applied to 500 C plate service vehicles serving throughout the capital.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Police Department Head Mustafa Koç, who participated in the transparent cabin application in the old Etlik Garage, gave the following information about the application:
“We started this practice for 8200 taxis, around 2400 minibuses, 200 public buses and 400 private transportation vehicles in Ankara. Service Vehicles Room also made an application. Today, we are starting the assembly of the model we developed for service vehicles with the Head of Service Vehicles Room. We received around 500 applications. We plan to complete it in a few weeks. We believe that with the opening of schools, it is an important step to protect the health of our students and our citizens who go to their jobs with buses. Our municipality continues its efforts in every field to protect the health of Ankara residents. As our president said, we say we will succeed together, we say we are 6 million one heart. We think we will defeat the coronavirus with this understanding. "
