Bursa Metropolitan Municipality is launching the revolutionary project, which will bring effective and comprehensive control to the traffic, to tender next month.
Main boulevards and streets, highways and crossroads, public service facilities and regions will be under the spotlight 24 hours a day with a management system covering hundreds of points.
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş says that with the application they bring to the agenda, a significant improvement will be provided to Bursa Traffic. Technically, the system called KGYS (City Security Management System) and EDS (Electronic Supervision System) is the transportation company of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, Bursa Transportation Inc. It will be financed by (BURULAŞ).
The tender for the realization of the revolutionary project will be held by BURULAŞ at its general directorate on 6 October. With the completion of the project in 1 year, according to the characteristics of the roads and intersections, red light, red light and speed, speed controls will be followed within the widespread network without making them look out of sight, and the crime subject will be photographed.
Within this network, red light violation control will be provided in 282 lanes, and prohibited parking will be detected at 15 points. A total of 150 cameras, 3 fixed and 1 mobile, will be placed in a total of 600 points throughout the system. While the infrastructure of the current narrow scope application has a 4.8-kilometer power line, the infrastructure line will increase to 23.2 kilometers with the new project.
In the new period, special signs will be placed at the points, showing that the camera observation and detection has been made, regarding the warning of the drivers. BURULAŞ will transfer the system to Bursa Metropolitan Municipality after the completion of the project.
