The number of China-Europe freight trains traded at the Khorgos border crossing in Xinjiang Autonomous Uyghur Region in China has reached 3 thousand so far, according to the statement of customs officials.

The train departing from Chengdu, southeastern province of Sichuan on Thursday, to Lodz, Poland, became the 1th Sino-European freight train that passed through the said customs gate since the beginning of the year, as of January 3.

At this point, the number of China-Europe freight trains traded was 55,17 in July with an increase of 495 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, while the increase rate in August was 62,29 with 482 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. The Khorgos customs point allocated a special service counter for freight trains, enabling customs procedures to be accelerated by 60 percent.
