The transportation fleet, which served 450 thousand passengers before the pandemic, provided "Healthy Transport" service by carrying an average of 150 thousand passengers per day with the same number of vehicles. Not satisfied with this and who cares about comfort as well as health, Mayor Büyükkılıç strengthened his transportation fleet by buying 24 more buses. Mayor Büyükkılıç continues his determination in this area by extending the decision not to take standing passengers for 15 days, which positively affects the number of cases.
Mayor Büyükkılıç, in his evaluation, stated that they added 24 new buses to the transportation fleet by making the right decisions at the right time with the determination to make it worthy of Kayseri. Stating that they aim to both relieve the urban passenger traffic and carry the transportation services to the highest level during the pandemic, Mayor Büyükkılıç gave the message that the health of the citizens is more important than anything else and that they will continue to make sacrifices regarding transportation.
Saying that “We care about the comfort of our citizens in Kayseri”, Mayor Büyükkılıç pointed out that it is pleasing that the rate of increase in cases has ended, and that this should not cause complacency and that measures should be taken with the same sensitivity.
