For city bus drivers within the scope of the new type of Coronavirus (Kovid-19) by Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality; Trainings on Personal Hygiene, Spatial Hygiene, Stress Management and Correct Communication Techniques have started.

The Metropolitan Municipality, which has been working hard to ensure that citizens take protective-preventive measures against the risk of infection in the new normal order, which has been initiated with the coronavirus epidemic threatening human life for a long time, prepared a training program for drivers working in city public buses within the framework of the circular issued by the Ministry of Health. . Participants were informed about Personal Hygiene, Spatial Hygiene, Stress Management and Correct Communication Techniques, especially the masks, distance and cleaning rules in urban passenger vehicles in the training organized in Çetin Emeç Meeting Hall.

In the training program carried out by the Metropolitan Municipality Human Resources and Institutional Development Department; While emphasizing on the hygiene, social distance rules and the importance of disinfectant in the vehicle, the drivers gained experience on how to use the mask correctly. In addition, it was stated that frequent disinfection of contact areas such as vehicle steering wheels is of great importance in terms of breaking the epidemic.

In the continuation of the education; Under the title of Stress Management, the participants were given; Definition of Stress, Stages of Stress, Types of Stress Daily Stress, Developmental Stress and Crisis Stress were explained in detail. In addition, it was touched on how to develop a protection reflex on effective problems that cause stress such as perfectionism, inability to say no, fear of failure, family crisis, expectations of other people, retirement, job anxiety.

Finally, in the training where the correct communication techniques section was discussed; Why communication is important, interpersonal communication, verbal non-verbal communication, listening, communication in business life, eloquent speech, gestures and mimics were clarified.
