The current stop of TCDD Transport General Manager Kamuran Yazıcı and the accompanying delegation was Sivas Region. The delegation visited the workplaces of Sivas Regional Directorate and evaluated their activities.
The delegation, which started its study tour to Sivas Region with Samsun, visited the Passenger Services Directorate, Logistics Bureau, Industrial Port and Samsunport port in Samsun.
Kamuran Yazıcı drew attention to the pandemic and underlined that all personnel should show the necessary care and attention in this regard.
The delegation also visited TÜRASAŞ Sivas Regional Directorate, which united TÜVASAŞ, TÜLOMSAŞ and TÜDEMSAŞ under its roof, and talked about freight wagons.
In addition, Yazıcı and his companions made examinations at Kavak Station, Passenger Chief, Artova Logistics Chief, who examined the fillings on-site at Bostankaya, Çetinkaya, Demirdağ, Divriği and Çaltı logistics centers, which are the best logistics loading centers of the region.
Yazıcı held meetings with NGO representatives as it has made it a tradition in every region he visited.
Drawing attention to the fact that Sivas is a railway city, TCDD Transport General Manager Kamuran Yazıcı said, “Sivas is a very important city for our industry. It is at the crossroads of East-West and North-South lines. Samsun-Sivas railway line is very important for our freight transportation. With the renewal and modernization of this line connected to the port, the importance of the operation in this line has increased even more. Sivas is also a very important point for passenger and freight transportation on the East-West axis. With the commissioning of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line, Sivas was connected to a large geography from China to Europe by rail. Sivas is also an important city in terms of the railway industry. The production of domestic and national freight wagons in TÜRASAŞ enables us to get very good results in our business. Sivas city is also very important in terms of railway vocational education. Our young people are educated for our sector in departments related to rail systems technologies at both vocational high school and university level. Sivas is a city that gets closer to many cities. It is becoming a city not far from Ankara, Istanbul or even Edirne. As our Minister also explained, there is very little time left for the commissioning of the Ankara-Sivas high-speed railway line. Therefore, the duties and responsibilities of all our personnel in the Sivas Region are gradually increasing, and a new process begins. I send my love to all my colleagues from Sivas. " said.
The last stops of General Manager Kamuran Yazıcı were Erzincan and Kars. Yazıcı's; After visiting Erzincan Logistics Directorate, Locomotive and Wagon Inspection Supply Chief and Passenger Chiefs, the next stop was Kars Passenger Management and Locomotive and Wagon Inspection Supply Chief. Yazıcı concluded his trip after detailed examinations at these workplaces.
