Qatar Airways celebrates the launch of its 100th aircraft with high speed 'Super Wi-Fi' connectivity. With Super Wi-Fi, it enables its passengers to stay in touch with their families, friends and colleagues while on the plane using the fastest broadband service. With 100 Super Wi-Fi-enabled aircraft in the sky, Qatar Airways is currently the airline serving the largest number of aircraft equipped with the highest-speed broadband in Asia, the Middle East and North Africa.

The airline's new A7-ALC-registered Airbus A350-900 aircraft became the 100th member of Qatar Airways' fleet, offering high-speed Super Wi-Fi service using global mobile satellite communications provider Inmarsat's award-winning GX Aviation technology. Since its launch in 2018 in the airline's fleet, this service has enabled millions of passengers to surf the web while relaxing on the plane, check social media, access video content, and more.

Qatar Airways passengers on GX Aviation-equipped flights can get up to one hour of free access to Super Wi-Fi service, with the ability to purchase full access on-board if more online time is needed.
