Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality continues its trainings for professional groups due to the Covid-19 outbreak. In this context, taxi drivers used daily by citizens were trained.
TRAININGS CONTINUE
Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality provides trainings for occupational groups that are in the forefront and in places where citizens are densely located and are thought to be in frequent contact. After training for barbers, hairdressers, school canteens, kindergartens and nurseries, police department personnel, training has now been given on the measures to be taken within the scope of Covid-19 measures at commercial taxis and taxi stands.
TAXI DRIVERS IN TRAINING
All the measures taken for the Covidien-19 outbreak in Turkey in Kocaeli in 1100 while cabbies targeted training of our citizens is of great importance in terms of ensuring transport safety. Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality gave training to taxi drivers and personnel working at taxi stands on Covid-19 measures so that citizens can use taxis with peace of mind.
TRAININGS AT CONGRESS CENTER
The trainings given by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Health and Social Services Department Health Education Unit were held at Kocaeli Congress Center. Head of Health and Social Services Department Ebubekir Ardıç, Kocaeli Drivers and Automobile Tradesmen Chamber President Kemal Kaya, taxi drivers and personnel working at taxi stands attended the first of the trainings given to the personnel of taxi and taxi stops.
PRECAUTIONS
In the training organized by the Health and Social Services Department, Health Affairs Branch Directorate; Detailed training was given on the precautions to be taken by taxi drivers, the measures to be taken by the customers, and the hygiene measures for commercial taxis and stops. Noting that it is essential to follow the rules, the trainers pointed out that if the rules are not followed, the epidemic grows like a snowball and increases the risk of spreading to everyone.
"CLEANING, DISTANCE AND MASK MATTERS"
At the end of the training, Head of Health and Social Services Department Ebubekir Ardıç made a short speech; “Today the taxi drivers did not open the taximeters and came here. So they care about this issue. Covid-6 has been struggling for about 19 months. Unfortunately, many of our people fell ill or died due to this disease. What should we do to keep ourselves and our country alive? We will focus on them. We will overcome this period by following the rules of cleaning, masks and social distance. Our state is already doing the necessary research on the epidemic. As Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, we will always continue to support you ”.
