A contract was signed between the Middle Black Sea Development Agency (OKA) and the municipality for the nostalgic tram project, which is among the important projects of Amasya Mayor Mehmet Sarı.
President Sarı signed a contract with İbrahim Ethem Şahin, Secretary General of the Middle Black Sea Development Agency (OKA), for the study and feasibility studies of the nostalgic tram. Thus, the work of the nostalgic tram, which will be brought to Amasya and is the dream of President Sarı, has officially started.
President Sarı said, "I wish our nostalgic tram, which will be carried out with survey and feasibility studies and whose financial support will be covered by OKA, will be beneficial to our city and our citizens."
The Nostalgic Tram route will start from 55 Evler Mahallesi and extend to Ferhat and Şirin Museum. Nostalgic Tram will add great prestige to the city. Local and foreign guests will be able to visit the tourism values of the city along the river.
