The number of passenger crossings on the Osmangazi Bridge in the first half of the year remained under the state guarantee. For this reason, a state payment of 1 billion 750 million lira will be made to Otoyol Yatırım A.Ş., which operates the bridge. The company will receive its second guarantee payment next March.
10.5 billion dollars loan will be drawn for guarantees
The amount of guarantee given by the state to the loans taken by the private sector for bridges and highways reached 17 billion 200 million 54 thousand dollars. It was learned that the AKP Government is planning to withdraw 10 billion 500 million dollars from the World Bank in the next seven years.
Lastly, a payment guarantee of 4 billion 435 million dollars was given to the loan taken for the financing of the Northern Marmara Motorway Kurtköy-Akyazı and Kınalı-Odayeri Sections. The loan taken for the Ankara-Niğde Highway, which was opened by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Friday, has a payment guarantee of 1 billion 310 million 749 thousand 341 dollars.
State guaranteed projects
Other projects guaranteed by the state are as follows:

- Northern Marmara Motorway 2 billion 318 million dollars for the loan taken for the Odayeri-Paşaköy Section (including Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge)
- Gebze-Orhangazi-Izmir 4 billion 956 million 312 thousand 328 dollars for the loan taken for the (İzmit Bay Crossing) Highway
- Canakkale-Malkara Highway (Including 1915 Çanakkale Bridge) 2 billion 799 million 993 thousand dollars for the loan taken.
