Young People Prefer ASELSAN MTAL for Their Future

ASELSAN Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School (MTAL) received students from the 0,33 percentile.

The success of ASELSAN MTAL, which was established with the aim of training qualified personnel for the Defense Industry, continued in 2020, and the lowest percentage slice showed a significant increase in both areas.

Success increased in the second year of ASELSAN Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School (MTAL). The school, which enrolled students from the 0,46 percentile last year, preferred students from the 0,33 percentile this year.

Within the scope of the protocol signed between MEB and ASELSAN to train qualified personnel for the defense industry, the first vocational and technical Anatolian High School in this field was established in 2019. With ASELSAN MTAL, it was the first time that 1 percent of students entered a vocational and technical Anatolian high school.

ASELSAN Chairman of the Board and General Manager Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, stating ASELSAN's interest in the schools increased even more with each passing year, "We are not just a school for our students, we are actually giving the opportunity to take a step to build the future of Turkey. ASELSAN VeriLoan with a certain culture, according to defense industry is important for Turkey and value share, together with a sense of accomplishment elements will try to be growing. "We would like to thank our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, our Ministry of National Education, our Defense Industry Presidency and all the officials who contributed to the realization of ASELSAN High School."

ASELSAN High School youth started to show themselves in science and sports from the first year. Two students of ASELSAN MTAL participated in the 7th National TALES Mathematics Applications competition held on March 2020, 5 and qualified to be invited to the finals. A student also won a bronze medal in the Ankara School Sports Fencing Young Men's Flöre competition. Then the Sofia Cup Fencing Tournament U17 Men's Flore fencing competitions held in Bulgaria brought the silver medal to our country as the second.
