Porsche's four-door sports model Panamera has been renewed

Panamera, Porsche's four-door sports car model, has been renewed. New Panamera, which gains more striking appearance and sharper lines, is more sporty and at the same time more comfortable with its optimized chassis and control systems. A performance-oriented hybrid model has been added to the new Panamera model family, which has also expanded its product family.

The new Porsche Panamera combines sports car performance with the comfort of exclusive sedans, now offering a wider range of products.

Porsche successfully demonstrates its claim to offer the best performance in its class with the 630 PS Panamera Turbo S model. Panamera Turbo, the most advanced performance model of the model family, far surpasses the performance values of its previous model. Porsche has also followed the E-Performance strategy and added the Panamera 560S E-Hybrid model with a completely new traction system, offering 4 PS system power output, to its range of charged electric hybrid cars. Compared to previous hybrid models, the all-electric range has been increased by up to 30 percent. Improved chassis components and control systems come together with new generation steering wheels and tires, providing great progress in comfort and sportiness.

Turbo S: 3,1 km / h in 100 seconds

With 630 PS of power and 820 Nm of torque, the new Panamera Turbo S offers 80 PS more power and 50 Nm more torque compared to the previous flagship Turbo model with an internal combustion engine. This increase has a very positive effect on driving performance: The Turbo S model completes the acceleration of 0 - 100 km / h in only 3,1 seconds in Sport Plus mode. The 4-liter V8 biturbo engine, developed in Weissach and manufactured in Zuffenhausen, familiar from previous models, has been extensively refurbished in order for the car to reach a top speed of 315 km / h. Stability system Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) including three-chamber air suspension, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and Porsche Torque Steering System Plus (PTV Plus) to transfer effective power to the asphalt in a controlled manner and maximize cornering performance Sport) individually customized and optimized for each model.

New record holder of the Nürburgring

The new Panamera Turbo S has already demonstrated its uncompromising performance on the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit: test driver Lars Kern completed the 20,832 km long tour of the world's toughest race track in exactly 7: 29.81 minutes, thus setting a new official record in the Panamera “executive cars” class.

More sporty and comfortable

The V8 biturbo engine in the Panamera GTS model has been optimized for power delivery. The new Panamera GTS produces 480 PS more power than the previous version with 620 PS and 20 Nm power values. Power output increases steadily towards the engine speed limit. In this regard, power generation is similar to classic sports cars with an atmospheric engine. Thanks to the new standard sports exhaust system with asymmetrically positioned rear silencers, the traditional V8 sound characteristics are now more prominent.

The new Panamera and Panamera 4 models are now equipped with the 2,9-liter V6 biturbo engine familiar from previous models in all markets around the world. There was no change in the performance of the car, which produced 330 PS and 450 Nm.

The chassis and control systems are configured to offer a sportier and more comfortable character in all new Panamera models. Some systems have been implemented from scratch. For example, the revised Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) provides noticeable improvements in damping comfort, while the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control Sport (PDCC Sport) electric roll stabilization system ensures increased body stability.

17,9S E-Hybrid with 54 kWh battery and 4 km electrical range

Porsche offers a more performance-oriented charged hybrid model with the new Panamera 4S E-Hybrid model. Intelligent combination of an eight-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission and a 440 kW (2,9 PS) electric motor integrated into a 6-liter V100 biturbo engine producing 136 PS with a total output of 412 kW (560 PS) and a total system of 750 Nm offers torque. In this respect, the performance values are quite impressive: when combined with the standard Sport Chrono Package, the acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is completed in 3,7 seconds. The car can reach a maximum speed of 298 km / h. The total battery capacity has been increased from 14,1 to 17,9 kWh compared to previous hybrid models using optimized cells, and driving modes have been optimized to achieve even more efficient energy use. The 4S E-Hybrid has a range of up to 64 km in full electric mode according to WLTP EAER City (NEDC: up to 54 km).

Sharper lines for striking looks

On the new Panamera models (in addition to the sports sedan, they can be ordered as a Sport Turismo or Executive with a longer wheelbase, depending on the drive system), the Sport Design front, previously available with eye-catching air intake grilles, large side cooling openings and a single-bar lighting module option is now standard. The completely renewed front of the Panamera Turbo S is distinguished by wider side air intake ducts that join horizontally and thus emphasize the width of the car and newly designed elements of the exterior. The light modules of the Twin Turbo headlights are now farther apart from each other.

The renewed light strip at the rear now lights up continuously on the luggage compartment lid with adapted contours. This provides a link between two newly designed LED backlight clusters. Newly darkened special design rear light clusters with dynamic arrival / departure functions are standard on GTS models. With the addition of three new 20 and 21-inch wheels, there are now 10 different exterior design options.

Digital connectivity and support systems for safety and comfort

Porsche Communication Management (PCM) includes extra digital functions such as the enhanced Voice Pilot online voice control system, up-to-date road signs, Risk Radar for hazard information and wireless Apple® CarPlay. Panamera is now standard with Lane Keeping Assist with road sign recognition, as well as a wide range of innovative lighting and assistance aids such as Night Vision Assist, Lane Change Assist, LED matrix headlights with PDLS Plus, Parking Assist with Surround Camera and Head-Up display. also offers.

New Panamera, Panamera 4, Panamera 4 E-Hybrid, Panamera 4 Executive models will be sold in Porsche Centers in Turkey in December.
