Odunpazarı Houses are historical houses from the Ottoman Period in the Odunpazarı district, which is the first settlement in Eskişehir. They carry architectural features and motifs in places such as Safranbolu, Beypazarı, Göynük. It is on the UNESCO world heritage list.

Odunpazarı district of Eskişehir was built on the hills in the southern part of the city. It extends to the area called Bademlik. According to a rumor, the first people to settle in Eskişehir hang a sheep liver in the region where Odunpazarı and present Porsuk Stream are located. Whichever one is based, they will choose the residential area. The liver, which is hung in Odunpazarı, is broken later and the first settlement is formed here.

The city, which preserves Ottoman examples, has survived as a whole by preserving its customs, traditions and traditions with its curved roads, dead-end streets, adjacent regular, bay windows with wooden ornaments. Odunpazarı residences are generally structured in two types. The entrances of the first type of houses are from the street and the gardens are in the back. The second type of dwellings are gardens in front, the dwellings are in the garden; They are built as 1, 2 or 3 floors. The residences generally consist of a sofa and the rooms around it. In multi-storey houses, the ground floor is reserved for service services such as kitchen, warehouse, and life continues on the upper floor. The corner room with windows on both sides of the façades of the houses is bigger and more important.

Within the scope of a cultural center project by Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality overlooking Odunpazarı Square and visible from the road, the houses were built in a concrete carcass style in accordance with the original architecture and Eskişehir Contemporary Glass Arts Museum started its activities on December 1, 2007.
