Özer made evaluations regarding the completion of the central placement process within the scope of 2020 LGS with the announcement of the results of the second transfer. Pointing out that both the increase in the number of students in high schools within the scope of LGS and the Kovid-2 epidemic process are two important disadvantages this year, Özer said, “Especially the excessive burden of approximately 19 thousand students in the number of 8th grade students on the system, locally in the enrollment regions in all provinces. It was easily solved by creating sufficient quotas. As in 500, the central part of the placement process was successfully completed, and at the end of the second transfer, 2019 percent of the students settled in the schools of their choice. " he spoke.

At the end of the process, everyone will be placed

2018 percent increase in the number of students placed in vocational education compared to 63

Underlining that students' orientation towards vocational education is gradually increasing, Özer said: “The improvements made in vocational education in the last two years have now attracted the attention of our students. In 2020, there was a serious improvement in both the number of vocational education students and the success segments in vocational education. At the end of the second transfer, which is the basis for placement, in 2020, the number of students placed in vocational and technical Anatolian high schools increased to 446. Thus, in 632, an increase of 2020 percent was achieved in the number of students who were placed in vocational and technical Anatolian high schools compared to 2019. Compared to 50, the increase in the number of students in vocational education was 2018 percent. There was not only a significant increase in the number of students, but also a significant increase in the base and ceiling scores of vocational and technical Anatolian high schools that accepted students with exams. As a result, the steps we took have paid off. "
