17 Percent Hike for İZBETON Workers

A collective bargaining agreement was signed for 750 workers working under the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality company İZBETON. Workers' wages were raised by 17 percent.

Saying that wages were increased by 17 with the contract, Karakuş said, “Our collective bargaining agreement has been the best agreement of recent years with the improvements made in social rights. Speaking after Karakuş, Heval Savaş Kaya, General Manager of İZBETON, underlined that they have been in favor of labor since the first day they took office and that they expressed that the conditions of the employees should be better at every opportunity.

The collective bargaining agreement signed will be valid between April 1, 2020 and March 31, 2022.
