Guangzhou Metro has ordered 358.8 42 meters long A-type subway trains from the Chinese railway vehicle manufacturer CRRC Dalian, worth approximately USD 186 million. Ordered subway vehicles will be used for new lines at Guangzhou Metro. A new subway line of 11 km in total in 286,3 different projects is under construction in the Guangzhou metro.
The new metro vehicles, which will have 8 vehicles and have an aluminum body, will be operated at a speed of 100 km / h and have a capacity of 3456 passengers. In addition, the vehicles will have advanced signaling and communication systems. The subway vehicles with LED lighting have a very modern design.
CRRC Dalian will also ensure they will provide a comprehensive maintenance system for trains, including diagnostic equipment to detect potential malfunctions, including high axle temperatures and overhead catenary damage.
