The tender for the intercity bus terminal building to be built on the South Ring Road by Elazig Municipality was held.
The intercity bus terminal building, which cannot meet the needs of the city in its current form, will be rebuilt by Elazig Municipality. The new bus terminal building to be built 500 meters ahead of the Venk Junction on the South Ring Road will have a closed area of 8.226 square meters and a semi-open area of 6.556 square meters.

Elazığ Mayor Şahin Şerifoğulları noted that they have completed the construction tender for the intercity bus terminal building project that the city needs for many years and that the works will be started after the tender process is completed.
Stating that they will meet one of the important needs of the city, Mayor Şerifoğulları said, “Our existing intercity bus terminal building is far from meeting the needs of our city. Our new bus terminal building, which will have a modern structure that will meet the needs of our city, will have a closed area of 8.226 square meters and a semi-open area of 6.556 square meters. The terminal will include 42 ticket booths, 18 shops, 2 restaurants-cafes, buffets, male-female wc, ablution rooms, showers and masjids, chauffeur rest rooms, children's playgrounds and 49 platforms. Our terminal building, which is the gate of our city opening outside, will add value to the future vision of our city with its modern and comfortable structure. ” said.
