South Korean POSCO and Sung Shin company partnership will produce 150 wagons to Bangladesh Railways. According to the contract signed last week, the wagons that need to be delivered within 30 months will have a stainless steel body. The cost of the contract, the loan of which was provided by Korean banks, is approximately USD 80 million.
The wagons, the first delivery of which will start in 18 months, will be used in various railway lines of Bangladesh. Stainless steel wagons with 1 meter rail opening will have automatic doors and WCs.
