The childhood of Banderas, who was born on 10 August 1960, coincided with the years when fascist Franco's oppressive regime was felt most intensely. As a very approachable boy, Antonio dreamed of becoming a great person in the future. Planning to be a good football player for the first time, Banderas had to give up his love at an early age after suffering a serious injury. The actress, who discovered her predisposition to acting with Milos Forman's acclaimed movie "Hair" (1979), started to appear on the stage when she was 10 years old, despite all the objections of her family.
