Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is building the Pishmaniyeciler Square in the center of the city for one of the symbols of Izmit, Pishmaniye. Due to the works carried out for the modern square that will be brought to the city, the escalator on the side of the Adnan Menderes Pedestrian Overpass, on the Halkevi side, will be closed for 4 days as part of the security measure.

Metropolitan Municipality continues its efforts to bring a modern square to Izmit district. With the project, both regretful tradesmen will be able to make their sales in a modern square and citizens will be able to shop with peace of mind in this square. CITIZENS CAN USE THE STAIRS
Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, which cares about the safety of the citizens due to the works in the Pişmaniyeciler Square, will keep the escalator on the Adnan Menderes Pedestrian Overpass Community Center closed for 4 days. Due to the application that will start on Tuesday, August 25, citizens will be able to transport by using the normal stairs at the back of the escalator.
