Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Karaismailoğlu made examinations in the Güzeldere Tunnel built on the Van Hakkari highway. Emphasizing that Güzeldere Tunnels will make significant contributions to Van in the fields of trade, animal husbandry, agriculture and tourism, Minister Karaismailoğlu said that the point known as 32 bends on the Van Hakkari road will be bypassed with the completion of these tunnels. Stating that they aim to complete the Güzeldere Tunnels in 2022, Minister Karaismailoğlu said that we will continue to carry out very important projects that the whole world looks enviously in terms of engineering.
Roads that are constantly closed will no longer be closed
Minister Karaismailoğlu, who stated that the roads that are constantly closed in the difficult conditions of winter will not be closed thanks to these tunnels, said, “Van and Hakkari take on a very important role in the border regions. These roads lead to all our border gates and provide transportation between our provinces. Transport and Infrastructure Projects give life and vitality to their location, increase border trade, develop tourism, agriculture and animal husbandry. Güzeldere Tunnels is one of our most important works in our country. I hope these tunnels will end, there will be great gains. "It will make significant contributions in trade, animal husbandry, agriculture, tourism and, most importantly, in the development of border trade."
Güzeldere tunnels will be completed in 2022
Stating that Güzeldere Tunnels will be completed by 2022, Minister Karaismailoğlu emphasized that there are very important projects that the whole world looks enviously in terms of engineering. Underlining that the tunnel works much progress in Turkey Ministers Karaismailoğlu, '' Our engineers, mütahit, our contractors and subcontractors will continue to make the great sacrifice of our most important jobs of the entire world. I hope these projects will end one by one and we will start new projects. Today, we handled Van's very important gangrenous projects. I hope there will be very beneficial developments for Van in the coming days. "Our aim is for our citizens to live in better conditions."
Minister Karaismailoğlu went to Gürpınar Güzelsu Road Construction Site and made observations.
Minister Karaismailoğlu also visited the 11th Regional Directorate of Highways and Van Edremit Application Point.
Minister Karaismailoğlu was accompanied by the Governor and Deputy Mayor Mehmet Emin Bilmez, AK Party Van deputies İrfan Kartal, Abdulahat Arvas and Chief Advisor to the President Gülşen Orhan during his visits.
