Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç announced that the tender for the new domestic lines and the renewed international terminal buildings of Erkilet Airport will be held on September 10th.
In his statement on the subject, Mayor Büyükkılıç noted that there has been an important development in the works for the expansion of the existing terminal buildings of Erkilet Airport, which is important for Kayseri and which they follow with special attention.
Noting that the date of the tender that will allow the expansion of domestic and international terminal buildings has been determined as a result of the studies they have followed with determination, Mayor Büyükkılıç said, "The tender for the new domestic lines and the renewed international terminal buildings of Erkilet Airport will be held on September 10 at 14.00".
Pointing out that it is inevitable for the airport terminal buildings to be enlarged in parallel with the development in every direction in Kayseri, in the heart of Central Anatolia, Mayor Büyükkılıç stated that the pleasing development regarding this issue, on which all of the city administrators reached a consensus and emphasized, also closely related to the surrounding provinces. "Our Kayseri will assume a much more important position in airline traffic with this tender," he said.
Mayor Büyükkılıç thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu, DHMİ Chairman of the Board and General Manager Hüseyin Keskin and other officials for their support for the enlargement of domestic and international terminal buildings.
