Izmit Mayor Fatma Kaplan Hürriyet's ropeway project, which was brought to the agenda for the first time in the July assembly meeting, was discussed again in the agenda of the parliament
İzmit Mayor Fatma Kaplan Hürriyet stated that at the end of the July council meeting, various feasibility reports were prepared for the construction of the ropeway project in Izmit and this would be discussed at the next month's council meeting.
The ropeway project, which was brought to the agenda by Mayor Fatma Kaplan Hürriyet at the July Assembly Meeting of Izmit Municipality, received an extension of time again at the Assembly meeting held on August 6. The Plan and Budget Commission and the Development Commission prepared a report on the ropeway project in question. However, due to the lack of sufficient information about the report, the members of the council remained at the parliamentary meeting in September.
It is thought that the cable car line planned to be built in Izmit will be between Bağçeşme Şehitlik and İzmit National Will Square or Doğu Kışla Park.
