Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services, stated that 4,6 billion liras have been transferred to Active Labor Force Programs that facilitate the employment of youth, women and disabled people in the last two years.

Minister Selçuk made statements about the incentives given by the ministry to many people, from youth to women, from disabled to entrepreneurs, within the scope of the Social Protection Shield.

Minister Selçuk, regarding Active Labor Force Programs, “We ensure sustainable employment of young people, women and disabled people with models such as On-the-Job Training Programs, Vocational Training Courses and Entrepreneurship Training Courses. Thanks to these programs, we increase their professional knowledge and skills. We have transferred 2018 billion liras for 1.1 million people since July 4.6. " said.

721 Million Liras Transferred to Young Entrepreneurs

Stating that young people are in an effort to prepare for the future in a strong way, Minister Selçuk said that the Social Work Program has been implemented to increase their awareness on social issues. Selçuk stated that, thanks to the program, 20 thousand university students were introduced to the labor market for the first time last year and their insurance premiums were covered by the state.

Stating that they believe in the entrepreneurial spirit of our young people and offer a strong incentive in this context, Minister Selçuk emphasized that with the young entrepreneur model, if young people between the ages of 18-29 enter for the first time under Bağ-Kur, the insurance premiums are covered by the state.
