UZMAR Performed Exercise at Aliağa Nemrut Bay SOCAR Terminal

SOCAR Terminal located in Aliağa Nemrut Bay carried out summer sea pollution emergency response practice under the coordination of UZMAR Maritime, which is an authorized organization.

Pollution created by the scenario; It was kept under control by using the barrier and other auxiliary equipment that are constantly stationed at the terminal. Collecting and storing processes were carried out by means of sea vehicles, scrapers and storage tanks, and the collected wastes were sent to licensed waste reception facilities.

The exercise was completed in approximately 2 hours under the operational leadership of UZMAR and SOCAR Terminal officials. With this exercise, it was once again seen that the cooperation, communication and coordination between UZMAR and SOCAR Terminal is very good and that it is prepared for the pollution that may occur in the terminal.
