The portable respiratory device SAHRA, which has been developed by the Machinery and Chemical Industry Corporation (MKE) locally and nationally and is expected to be exported to many countries as well as being used in our country, uses a battery system manufactured by ASPİLSAN Energy.
Produced by Turkish engineers from design to software, Sahra has a modular structure. With the domestic and national production mechanical breathing apparatus, the resources were also kept in the country.
The device, which has the feature of providing basic respiratory support for a Kovid-19 patient who is aggravated due to shortness of breath and low oxygen in the blood, can also be used for other patients with respiratory failure.
Health and care units, military base areas or health units of the barracks, field hospitals, hospitals, emergency room intensive care units as well as ambulance and houses are among the main areas of use in the Sahara.
