President of the Presidential Defense Industry. Dr. İsmail Demir said, “We will deliver our Pars 6 × 6 Mine Protection Vehicle, which will be the first in the world, to the TAF in 2021. We no longer care about finger flicks from other countries. We continue our way by overcoming all kinds of restrictions and obstacles with domestic production. ”

The first assembly of the Pars 6 × 6 Mine Protection Vehicle, developed within the scope of the project initiated by the Presidential Defense Industry Directorate in line with the needs of the Turkish Armed Forces, was carried out.

Dr. İsmail Demir, with the participation of the Ministry of National Defense, Turkish Armed Forces, General Directorate of Security and defense sector representatives, FNSS Savunma Sistemleri A.Ş. It was held in Gölbaşı facilities.

Speaking at the ceremony, President of the Presidential Defense Industry. Dr. İsmail Demir emphasized that this vehicle, which is designed with the new generation high protection capabilities, can eliminate the attacks that may be exposed during the mission both in the residential area and in the field with the remote control weapon system it has, in order to ensure the safe transfer of the personnel from the land. Expressing that the vehicle can operate in all types of terrain with its 6 × 6 mobility, Demir said, “After the qualification tests that will continue until the end of the year, all of our vehicles will enter the inventory in 2021 and will be offered for the first time to the TSK. This vehicle, which has some features we call the first in the world, also has a high export potential. I hope this capable vehicle will be beneficial to our security forces and Turkish Armed Forces. We will start this process with 12 pieces. We hope that it will continue with more products. ”

Demir continued his words as follows:

“We see that various restrictions and embargo activities continue increasingly in the process we pass through. Our company, which developed this tool, also faced such prohibitions and embargoes, and continued its way by overcoming all kinds of restrictions and obstacles with domestic production. We would like to thank all of our defense industry companies and ecosystems, which continue the process of localization regardless of them and such obstacles and take the National Technology Move to the next level. Because we no longer care about other countries' finger swings. In this sense, we continue our way with determination. Every threat to us, every restriction carries another warning cartridge value. We have seen various elements of this warning cartridge in this vehicle and we have made localizations accordingly, we continue to do so. ”

Noting that the vehicles to be produced within the scope of the PARS 6 × 6 MKKA Project have reached the assembly stage in a short period of 15 months from the effective date of the contract, FNSS Savunma Sistemleri A.Ş. General Manager and CEO Nail Kurt emphasized that the vehicles are designed beyond the other vehicles in the inventory and believe that when taken into the inventory, it will add strength to the strength of our Armed Forces, especially with its survivability infrastructure.

Within the scope of the project, successful works carried out with local and national organizations, especially ASELSAN and TÜBİTAK, will be continued effectively in the logistics support period after deliveries. The project stands out in terms of meeting the technical and tactical demands of the new generation vehicles that our Armed Forces and world armies may aim to take into their inventory in the future, and implementing modern Integrated Logistics Support (ELD) approaches.
