Meltem Yolu Opened to Traffic 3rd Stage Rail System Works Continue

Works of the 3rd Stage Rail System of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality are continuing rapidly. In the project that will connect Varsak to the city center with the Otogar, Antalya Training and Research Hospital, rails have been laid from Meltem Street to the Crossroads of the Training and Research Hospital. After the asphalt works, Meltem road was opened to traffic.

The works in the 3rd Stage Rail System project, which is being continued by the Metropolitan Municipality, are concentrated in the areas of Otogar, Dumlupınar Boulevard, Faculty of Medicine, University, Meltem, Hospital and Falez Junction. Rail laying works on Meltem Boulevard have been completed to a great extent. Rail laying works have also been completed in the section from the university intersection to the Hospital intersection. The Meltem Stop was built as a medium platform just ahead of the Meltem Mosque, while the catenary poles were erected to the Meltem stop.

MELTEM OPENS TRAFFIC

Asphalt works of the part up to the junction of Akdeniz University and Training and Research Hospital have been completed. Cold road markings were made and the road was opened to traffic. In the part of Hospital Junction, asphalting works will be completed in the coming days. Excavation work continues on Tarık Akıltopu Street, where the Training and Research Hospital is located. There will be a level cross in front of the hospital.
