Kumköy and Kovan Streets Become a Double Road

Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality, Ekrem Yüce, announced that the work has started on the project that will make the Adapazarı Tepekum District Kumköy and Kovan Streets into double roads. The 400-meter route infrastructure and superstructure will be renewed and become a double road.

Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem Yüce announced that the work to turn the Adapazarı Tepekum District Kumköy and Kovan Streets into double roads has started. Expressing that they have carried out many double roads throughout the city in order to ease and accelerate the traffic flow of the city, President Ekrem Yüce said that they will transform the 400-meter route, which covers the Tepekum Mahallesi Kumköy and Kovan Streets in Adapazarı, into a divided road.

Infrastructure improvement studies started

Stating that the double road network will be expanded and the flow in traffic will be more comfortable, President Ekrem Yüce said, “We are adding a new one to our efforts to expand our double road network. We started our work to turn the 400-meter route, which covers the Adapazarı Tepekum District Kumköy and Kovan Streets, into a double road. Our teams carry out the infrastructure improvement works of the route by performing excavation and filling works. After the infrastructure improvement works are completed, the rainwater and sewage infrastructure of the route will be completed by SASKİ. We will relax the traffic flow on the route by turning the superstructure of the route whose infrastructure has been completed into a double road. We will build a sidewalk. We will add a new one to our city's double road network by renewing its infrastructure and superstructure.
