Izmir Metropolitan Municipality built a highway bridge on the İZBAN railway line in Menemen Seyrekköy District to provide the connection between the İzmir-Çanakkale Highway and the agricultural lands. The bridge will be opened to transportation after asphalting of side roads, line and marking works.
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality has united the two bridges on the Menemen Seyrekköy 98 Sokak with the highway bridge, the connection of which is provided through the level crossing on the IZBAN railway line. Rail Systems Department built the bridge that will provide safe, fast and continuous transportation. The bridge, which is 316 meters long including approach ramps and 10 meters wide, including a walking lane including a pedestrian road, cost 10 million 612 thousand TL. Within the scope of the project, approximately 780 meters of surface coated side roads were also constructed.
Transportation Will Be Easier
The bridge connecting İzmir-Çanakkale Highway and Seyrekköy Street and plain streets will provide uninterrupted and safe transportation of Koyundere Mahallesi farmers, employees of agricultural lands and Keresteciler Site. Transportation between the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Aegean Agricultural Research Institute and agricultural lands in Menemen Plain will be easier. The bridge will be opened to transportation after asphalting of side roads, line and marking works.
