İBB will provide free choice counseling services to young people who take the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) in Istanbul. With the IMM Preference Consultancy Centers to be established in 18 points of Istanbul, young people will contribute to making their university choices consciously and correctly.
Millions of students who passed the YKS exam held on June 27-28, are eagerly waiting to settle in the university of their choice by getting the score they target. Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) will be with young people to give direction to their future by making their choices consciously during the university preference period announced between 6 - 14 August. As of July 28, university candidates will be able to benefit from the free university preference consultancy service of IMM at 18 different points of the city.
IMM Preference Counseling Centers prefer the choices of young people entering YKS; It will support them to do it correctly according to criteria such as score, success ranking and university quota. In addition to these criteria, factors such as young people's interests, talents, and desire to live in another city will be among the topics that determine preferences. Attention will be drawn to all details at İBB's Preference Advisory Centers and advice will be given to universities and departments selected before making their choices.
“ALO PREFERENCE LINE” FOR DISABLED AND PATIENTS
IMM will be at the service of young people who will make university choices between 190 and 28 August and 14 August 2020 from 10.00 to 19.00. Candidates can also request that İBB teams come to their homes and support them face to face if they wish.
