Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Memduh Büyükkılıç stated that the mountain can be evaluated in many seasons in every season within the scope of the Erciyes Master Plan made by the municipality. Erciyes, the highest mountain in the Central Anatolia Region, offers ski camps to skiers in the summer months as part of the Erciyes Master Plan put into practice by Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality. Mount Erciyes, Turkey's most important tourism centers of winter sports and continues to keep alive the skiing four seasons. Within the scope of Erciyes Master Plan, Erciyes A.Ş., which is within the body of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, and Kayseri Snowboard Regional Team skiers, including national athletes, are making sports camps in the ski center in Sütdonduran Plateau under the leadership of Hacılar Municipality and Youth Provincial Sports Directorate.
Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, in his assessment of the subject, pointed out that skiing in July is a rare event in the world.

Our skiers continue their training here. How lucky we are that we live in a city with this natural beauty. You know, we are doing our utmost to make Kayseri known as a tourism city. These examples show how important our heritage is in Kayseri. It is our neck's debt to protect the natural and cultural values of our city by protecting these heritages. ERCIYES HOSTS ITS SKIERS IN SUMMER
