
As a result of the collision of two passenger trains in the west of the Czech Republic, it was reported that at least 3 people died and about 20 people were injured, according to the first determinations.
The Czech Railway Police Inspectorate said the collision occurred after 15.00 am between Nove Hamry and Pernink stations near the German border.
Both trains operate between Karlovy Vary and the town of Johanngeorgenstadt in the German state of Saxony.
After the accident, while the emergency teams were dispatched to the region, the ambulance helicopter was also taken off to go to the accident point.
