William Bradley Pitt (December 18, 1963; Shawnee, Oklahoma, USA) is an American actress and film producer. Shortly before he graduated from the University of Missouri in journalism, he went to Hollywood, telling his family that he would attend an Academy of Fine Arts in Pasadena to kick off his long-time acting career. After wearing chicken costumes in various promotions and doing limo driver for a while, he started to play small roles in TV series such as Dallas and Another World.
In 1989, he gained attention by starring in a low-budget production called Cutting Class. Two years later came the fifteen-minute role in Thelma & Louise, which would have People Magazine awarded him the title of "The Sexiest Man in the World." Wanting to be known for his acting talent, not his physical features, Pitt acted in many movies such as Interview With The Vampire (1994), 12 Monkeys (1995), Seven (1995), Fight Club (1999), where he would find this opportunity in the coming years.
He is also a producer. He was the producer of The Departed, which received the 2006 Best Film Oscar.
In the 2014 Oscar awards, the 12-Year Bondage film, produced by Brad Pitt, won the best movie, best adaptation script awards. He won his first Oscar in acting in 2020 for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
William Bradley Pitt was born in Oklahoma. their parents; Her mother, Jane Etta, is a school counselor, and her father, William Alvin Pitt, who runs a trucking company. He moved to Springfield, Missouri with his family. He lived there with his brother Douglas Pitt and sister Julie Neal. Brad Pitt, who grew up in a conservative family and was raised as a Southern Baptist, stated that he oscillated between agnosticism and atheism. He attended high school at Kickapoo High School, where he joined the golf, swimming and tennis teams. He started his journalism degree at the University of Missouri in 1982. Pitt got married to Jennifer Aniston, who rose to star in the series "Friends" in 2000, after their relationship with his ex-fiancé Juliette Lewis and Gwyneth Paltrow. After their separation in 2004, their relationship, which started with Angelina Jolie in the shooting of the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith, in which they played the leading roles, ended in marriage in 2014.

They were married in a private ceremony on 23 August 2014 in Château Miraval, France. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt couple are referred to in the media as “Brangelina” for short. In September 2016, Angelina Jolie filed for divorce. Interviewing People magazine, Pitt said about the situation, "I'm very sorry, but now most importantly, the wellbeing of our children."
