Hyperloop is a unified name consisting of the words hyper and loop. Hyper means "superior, extreme". Loop, on the other hand, means "loop, tumble, loop, round (rotating capsule)". While the word hyper, which constitutes the name, indicates the speed superiority, the word loop indicates that the vehicle consists of a magnetic field capsule, that is, a round. The semantic translation of the name of the vehicle in Turkish is "speed slot" or "speed ball" if the cyclical properties of the vehicle are taken into account.

Hyperloop History

Elon Musk first introduced tapray vehicles as the “fifth type of transportation” after land, sea, air and rail system transportation. In July 2012, he announced that he named this new vehicle Hyperloop, which he was in designing at a PandoDaily event in Santa Monica. Musk has gathered his expectations from this theoretical high speed transportation system in a few characteristic features. Accordingly, his aim was to design a transportation vehicle that is not affected by weather conditions, has no risk of accidents, on average, twice the speed of an ordinary jet, consumes little energy and can store energy for 24-hour uninterrupted operation.

Musk planned the tapra as a vehicle that could travel at a speed between the electromagnetic ball and Concorde. This system is a cross-rail system and does not require a railway network. Musk believes this system can be built underground or above ground.

Theoretical dimension and construction

High-speed rail and high-speed transport developers in general have had problems managing friction and weather resistance historically. When the vehicles reach high speed, these two factors become very important.
