As part of the F-16 Structural Improvement Project initiated by the Presidency Defense Industry Directorate, the structural improvement of the first F-16 Blok-30 aircraft was completed and delivered to the Air Force Command.

Türk Havacılık ve Uzay Sanayii A.Ş. Within the scope of structural improvements carried out by (TUSAŞ), repair and replacement and reinforcement were applied on the body where necessary. After the Acceptance Test and Inspection activities, the final test flight was made by HvKK pilots and the acceptance process of the first F-16 Blok-30 aircraft was successfully completed. Thus, an important milestone was completed in the F-16 Structural Improvement activities.

The F-16 Structural Improvement Project aims to increase the structural life of our F-16 aircraft, which is the main striking element of our Air Force, from 8000 hours to 12000 hours. Structural improvement of 35 F-16 Blok-30 aircraft is planned under the project.
