With the opening of the ring road, a hard work is underway to complete and open the Altınordu Terminal, which has become important for the relief of intercity transportation and city traffic.

Work has reached the final stage in the construction of supply, which is the last leg of the Altınordu Intercity Bus Terminal built by Ordu Metropolitan Municipality in Altınordu district, right next to the ring road. Coşkun Alp, General Secretary of Ordu Metropolitan Municipality, said that 95 percent of the construction works within the scope of the tender have been completed.

TOTAL AREA 22.000 SQUARE METERS

The project, which has a total terminal area of ​​22.000 m², includes 28 platforms, 9 midibus parking areas, 98 parking lots for district and village vans, a commercial vehicle park for 11 vehicles, a guest parking lot for 50 vehicles and 20 company rooms within the terminal building.

WILL PRODUCE OWN ELECTRICITY

Altınordu Intercity Bus Terminal, built with new and modern technology, is a self-contained building by producing 340 kWp of electricity per hour with standard solar panels placed on its ceiling.

Coşkun Alp, the Secretary General of the Metropolitan Municipality, who examined the works on the project in the end, said, “The stone laying works within the terminal building have come to an end. The glass balustrades, the installation of the lighting elements and the asphalt works of the terminal area remained. Our teams, which are also affiliated to the Directorate of Science Affairs, will manufacture and paint the 25 m wall around the terminal as well as asphalt. We aim to complete the construction works within the scope of the tender at the end of the month. The project, which will reduce the daily traffic density in the city center, will be put into service as a modern facility in intercity transportation. ”
