Within the scope of the circular published by the Directorate of Religious Affairs on May 23, 2020, all the masjids need to bring their prayer and worship in accordance with the mask and social distance rules. IETT affiliated prayers are also held in accordance with the circular.
Masjids in IETT garages and facilities were closed on 16 March as required by the circular issued under the coronavirus measures. Along with the normalization process, the masjids were opened to worship after the circular issued by the Directorate of Religious Affairs on 23 May.
Right after the published circular, on May 23, all the masjids in IETT garages and 11 masjids in the Metrobus line were opened for use. The mosque in Zincirlikuyu station was opened to the use of citizens provided that they brought their own prayer rugs, with the necessary disinfection process being started regularly.
