The construction of electricity and signaling lines, called the new platform and catenary, has been going on for a long time in the Izmit 42 Evler area.
Adapazarı Arifiye- Izmit-Pendik working suburban train line, which was stopped due to the High Speed Train operation in 2012 and reopened on a single line after 3 years, was added to the number of lines by two. Work on the second line is still continuing in the Izmit 2015 Evler area.
The platform and the electrical signalization works were being carried out in the area where the rails were laid, but the work had been suspended for 10 days due to the dispute between the contractor company and the TCDD.
It was stated that the TCCD with the company renegotiated and the construction of the work would be restarted shortly, but the work was still not started.
While the infrastructure work of the 2 platforms is continuing, there is currently no work on the lines. Infrastructure of platforms is completed. In the superstructure, the production of platforms was started.
Work in the area started on 20 February. The construction of the platform with 20 people was expected to be completed in August, but after the developments, the calendar seems to be slightly sagging.
