While the additional High Speed ​​Train (YHT) is put into service to meet the increasing passenger demand due to the Eid al-Adha, Marmaray and Baskentray will serve free of charge with the Presidential Decree.

Additional YHT services will be organized on the Ankara-Istanbul-Ankara line to meet the increasing passenger demand. A total of four additional YHT flights will be held on the Ankara-Istanbul (Söğütlüçeşme) line on July 30, 2020 and August 3, 2020, on the day of Arife.

Additional YHTs will depart from Ankara at 09.00 and from Istanbul at 16.45. In order to maintain social distance in trains, additional YHTs will continue to operate with 50 percent capacity, and over 3 additional capacity will be offered.

Marmaray and Başkentray Free

According to the President's Decision published in the Official Gazette, urban passenger transportation will be provided free of charge during the Feast of Sacrifice. Within the scope of the decision, the night that links Thursday to Friday will be free at Marmaray and Başkentray operated by TCDD General Directorate of Transport starting from 31:00.00 on 3 July until 24.00:XNUMX on Monday, XNUMX August.
