Sakarya Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem Yüce invited all citizens to the promotional program of the 22 World Mountain Bike Marathon Championship, which will be hosted by Sakarya on Friday, July 25th. Expressing that the championship has a great importance in opening Sakarya to the world, President Ekrem Yüce said, “Athletes, viewers and media representatives from different parts of the world will be in our city for the organization. Here he will spend time, touch cultural, historical, touristic values. When they return to their country, they will tell about the beauties of Sakarya. Hundreds of television channels will bring the organization to their screens live. I hope our city will be remembered in the best way in different cities of the world. ”

Completing his words by stating that they consider the bike not only as a hobby vehicle but also as a means of transportation, President Ekrem Yüce said, “We consider the bike as a means of transportation as well as being a very important sport for public health. We integrate our new bicycle paths into urban transportation, and create cycling culture in our city with smart bicycle applications. We also design the new double road projects we have implemented in accordance with bicycle transportation. Hopefully, we will continue to work to expand bicycle transportation, increase love for bicycles and become the eighth bike-friendly city in the world. ”
