Between April and June in 2020, Emirates SkyCargo carried more than 10.000 cargo flights to destinations on six continents, transporting essential supplies and other supplies for individual consumers and businesses worldwide. Flights were scheduled, private and chartered.

Nabil Sultan, Senior Vice President of Emirates Cargo Division, said: “As a customer-oriented company, Emirates SkyCargo has adapted its cargo operations and service range in an innovative way in line with the rapidly changing market demand over the past few months. In line with our core value of being a global facilitator for trade and economies, we have expanded our network to reach more than 100 destinations within the framework of a strong flight frequency to key manufacturing and consumer markets. We continue to offer our customers unique access and connectivity for their valuable cargo, and our milestones on flights confirm the trust our customers have in our services. ”

In May and June, Emirates SkyCargo performed an average of more than 3800 flights per month and traveled to more than 100 destinations and covered approximately 37 million kilometers (this is approximately 50 times the distance to and from the moon).

Starting with 2020 destinations at the end of March 35, Emirates SkyCargo expanded its network to reach more than 2020 scheduled cargo destinations worldwide in July 100. Transporting urgently needed medical supplies and supplies necessary for food production and other industries, Emirates SkyCargo helps re-establish the link between cities and international trade routes with the resumption of production and other economic activities.
