Especially after the 1980s, THK has made great progress in sport aviation and in 1990 in international relations.
In 1985, the Authority began its aerial fire fighting activities, FAI General Assembly and meetings of the Commission in the TAA Watching an effective policy and Turkey are brought to the forefront. In addition to the existing glider, parachute, flight school and model aircraft school, the Very Light Aircraft School was established in 1996, which includes balloons, sail wings and paragliding.
