Transport and Infrastructure Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu met with representatives of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in the city after visiting Tokat Governorate, Municipality and AK Party Provincial Directorate within the scope of his contacts in Tokat.
Karaismailoğlu, here in his speech, said that Turkey is a very serious study carried out in every point.

“The total amount of investment made in Tokat during the AK Party governments approached 9,8 billion liras. Our investments in the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Tokat approached 5 billion liras. We have a total of 379 kilometers of road networks, 325 kilometers of state roads and 704 kilometers of provincial roads in Tokat. Tokat, which was only 2003 kilometers divided road until 16, today has a divided road of 257 kilometers. We increased the bituminous hot asphalt in our city from 16 kilometers to 271 kilometers. We completed the 84-kilometer Turhal-Tokat-Sivas road, the 75,5-kilometer Erbaa-Reşadiye road and the 8-kilometer Tokat Ring Road. The total length of our 10 road projects in our city is 370 kilometers. ”

Minister Karaismailoğlu pointed out that there is a railway network of 168 kilometers within the boundaries of Tokat, and that they have completed the rehabilitation and signaling of the 410-kilometer Samsun-Sivas (Kalın) Line.
Explaining that they started the freight train trial flights on May 4, the travel time, which was 8 hours and 50 minutes, decreased to 5 hours and 45 minutes, and said:
“We started the Tokat-Turhal High Speed Railway Survey Project. This line will be connected to the north-south railway corridor from Turhal on the Samsun-Sivas (Kalın) line, Tokat province. The total cost of our 10 projects in Tokat is 3 billion 406 million liras. 1 billion 159 million lira has been spent on these projects so far. We will complete our projects in a short time. Three quarters of the Tokat New Airport Project has been completed. The 2-meter track, apron with 700 aircraft parking capacity and taxiway, perimeter security and lighting system have been completed. In addition, the construction of the tower, technical and supply departments continues with the domestic and international terminal building with an annual capacity of 4 million passengers. While there was no fast internet in Tokat in 2, there are approximately 2003 thousand fast internet subscribers today. We increased the length of the fiber optic cable in Tokat by 453 times to 3 thousand 3 kilometers. 97 PTT branches were opened for automation and 42 PTTmatiks were established in Tokat. ”
