New Measures to be Implemented in Public Transportation in Balıkesir Determined

Balıkesir Provincial Hygiene Board convened under the chairmanship of Governor Ersin Yazıcı and took the following decisions.

From the moment the coronavirus epidemic was observed, many measures were taken in order to manage the risk of the epidemic / contamination in terms of public health and public order, to ensure social isolation, to maintain social distance and to control the spread of the epidemic / contamination, in line with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health and Science Board. and put into practice. With the decision of the Provincial Hygiene Board dated 24.03.2020 and numbered 2020/08, it is stated that 50% of the passenger carrying capacity specified in the vehicle license will be accepted in all urban public transportation vehicles, and the way of sitting in the vehicle will be in a way to prevent the contact of the passengers, 26.03.2020 With our decision dated 2020 and numbered 09/1, it was decided that personnel and worker services should also be subject to this rule. At the current stage, a controlled social life process was initiated and “Measures to Be Taken with the Scientific Advisory Board of the Ministry of Health” in Annex 2, “Measures to be taken with regard to Personnel Service Vehicles” in Annex 3, and In Annex XNUMX, precautions regarding urban and intercity passenger transportation have been published under the headings of “Precautions Regarding Road Transport, Railway Transport, Maritime Passenger Transport”.

In this context;

a) With the decision of the Provincial Hygiene Board dated 24.03.2020 and numbered 2020/08, our decision that 50% of the passenger carrying capacity specified in the vehicle license in all urban public transportation vehicles and personnel services will be accepted,

b) Implementing the implementation in urban and intercity passenger transportation in accordance with the relevant sections of the Outbreak Management and Working Guide sent by the Ministry of Health Coronary Science Advisory Board,

c) In the Article 4 of the Outbreak Management and Work Guide, Minibuses, Minibuses, Public Buses, Municipal Buses Related Measures section, titled “Precautions to be Taken for Passengers”, vehicles may not be recruited as standing seats.
