Mayor Yavaş announced that they will connect Bağlıca Boulevard and Türk Kızılay Caddesi (in front of the Old Air Hospital) with a new boulevard, through their social media accounts.

After the tender process, the Department of Science Affairs struck the first excavation for the construction of 2 bridge junctions in front of the Turkish Red Crescent Street Red Crescent building and the Old Air Hospital. Following the start of the first phase of the project that will hit the traffic density of Etimesgut İstasyon Caddesi, Mayor Yavaş shared his new words, saying that they will make an alternative new boulevard that will facilitate the transportation of Etimesgut district:

TRANSPORTATION TO ETİMESGUT REGION WILL RELEASE DOUBLE SIDED
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality has also started to work on the construction of a new alternative boulevard that will connect Bağlıca Boulevard to the Turkish Red Crescent Street to relieve transportation to the Etimesgut region.
The 9-kilometer boulevard to be built within the scope of the works carried out by the Department of Science Affairs will consist of 3 lanes in total, 3 departures and 6 arrivals. With the construction of the new boulevard, Başkent Ankara will both have a new boulevard and the connection of Mehmet Akif Ersoy Caddesi and Şehit Hikmet Özer Caddesi to this boulevard will be provided.
